Alternative British-ish pop/rock would be the simplest way to describe Semi-Normal. Having recently released their debut album 'Half Open Minds' the four piece from Adelaide have been taking great strides, becoming a fully rounded outfit both in the studio and on stage.
Semi-Normal are Ben Downing (lead vocals/guitar), *Matt Parsons (lead guitar), Mandy Johnson (Bass/Vocals), Dave Smith (Drums).

The Semi-Normal website has been a relatively quite place of late. You will be happy to know though that a brand new shiny website is currently on its way and shall be arriving very shortly.
Perhaps of even more important that a brand new record titled So Much for Sanity is also almost here. We have been very busy preparing for its release so hang in there Semi-Normal fans, 2012 is set to be a big year.

Sounds of Suburbia
Semi-Normal will be playing the Sounds of Suburbia Festival at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel September 3rd. The Line-up is: The Killgirls, The Shiny Brights, These Wild Animals, Smells Like September, Kingston Downes, Irie Knights, Semi-Normal.

Giveaways & Semi-Normal

Fuse Festival
Semi-Normal will be playing as part of Fuse West on Wednesday 16 February. Headlining the night will be Blackchords from Victoria. The Battery Kids will also be performing along with Tracksuit(wa) and Leitmotif.
The Metro
Semi-Normal will be playing with The Amcats & Truce & the Colonel. Saturday December 4 at the Metropolitan Hotel on Grote St.
Ed Castle Show

Scorcherfest
Semi-Normal will be performing at this years Scorcherfest on October 3rd. Come down to the Duke of York and check out the vast number of local and interstate artists that will be performing.
Clearances CD Launch
